CLAYWOOD HOUSE

Claywood House, a new 5-bedroom low-carbon home in Hampshire, is a perfect example of combing unique materials, high-performance bespoke glazing and innovative green power sources to create a sustainable family home.

Splitting their two-acre plot of land in half, the client wanted the new home to contrast the existing one completely, so from the original design of a gothic home with turrets and a red brick exterior came this stunning modern home design with timber cladding, pale brickwork and a minimalistic glazing package.

GATSBY HOUSE

This listed building in the sought-after area of Chelsea underwent an extensive refurbishment which included the addition of a steel framed glass box extension on the rear elevation. We worked closely with architects Atelier West to achieve an art deco style extension, enhancing the existing design of the terraced home.

The internal living spaces were redesigned to expand the useable space, increase the functionality and introduce tonnes of natural light throughout the day times. With dark accents of colour used throughout the home, it made sense to opt for more traditional glazing systems.

CRANBOURNE ROAD

This semi detached London home has been extended into the garden, expanding their useable space and flooding the ground floor with natural light. The same colour scheme was used for the new brickwork as the original home, allowing the two parts of the building to merge into one rather than having a clear differentiation between old And new.

A number of slim framed glazing systems were used within the open plan kitchen and dining area, including slim framed sliding door systems with a completely flush threshold. The tall sliding doors reached 3.3m and help to bridge the gap between indoor and outdoor areas, following a biophilic design by maximising the light and views of the garden.
